SUMMER COURSES
For the 27th consecutive year (since 1990), Hong Kong International Summer Dance School (ISDS) has attracted students and teachers from different countries and cultural backgrounds to come to Hong Kong to share their love and joy of dance. This international fabulous dance event offers a 4-week intensive training from 14 July to 11 August 2019. International renowned guest teachers from Russia, USA, Japan, Germany and Spain will be teaching this summer.
Course Content
A 4-week intensive dance program which covers Ballet, Repertoire, Pointe, Pas de deux, Character, Contemporary or Jazz. The ISDS curriculum exposes aspiring dancers to a variety of dance styles and perspectives by master instructors. Each day’s curriculum includes 3-4 hours of Classical Ballet technique, Pointe, Variations with enrichment classes in Character, Contemporary and Jazz in the mornings and rehearsals for the Gala Performances “Stars of Tomorrow” in the afternoons. Certificates of participation will be awarded to students upon completion of ISDS.

JSDS is a unique summer dance program designed for Grade 4 and above students of the School. A 5-day course covers Ballet, Jazz, Chinese Dance, Stage Make-up and Headdress Making, Stretching and Repertoire. It aims to complement and enhance the technical and artistic training of students.
